About Nursery Rhyme Cast & Crew

E. L. Sanchez lives in Long Beach, CA, but was born and raised in Texas. An author, photographer, and graphic artist, he also has a background in low budget features and shorts—small films done on tiny schedules and little money.

The experience has stood him in good stead on Nursery Rhyme, which was made under similar conditions; it also gave him the chance to demonstrate that movies don’t need multi-million dollar budgets to be good. Nursery Rhyme has garnered five awards so far.
David Pettine - Daddy in Nursery Rhyme
David Pettine makes his home in Altadena, California, where he is wifeless, childless, pet less, and thus stressless. A trained actor, singer, and dancer, with considerable stage experience, he is also a published author, and has penned several screenplays.
 
 
 As producer and writer he has two feature films under his belt, including the multi-award winning feature Nursery Rhyme, as well as two shorts. A man of many accomplishments, David also makes room in his life for hiking, weightlifting, reading and traveling.
Shanta Payne Nursery Rhyme
Shanta Payne hails from San Diego, California. She attended Howard University, where she received a B.A. in English Literature. She spent three years studying with The Harlem Theatre Company in New York, performing in numerous plays before returning to her home state.
 
Shanta has her own company, Payne Casting through which she currently casts various independent film projects. She also wrote, produced, and directed the docudrama BLUE MIDNIGHT, for Neon Productions.
Janet Keijser
Hailing from Canada, Janet Tracy Keijser’s accomplishments are too numerous to list here. Some of her notable credits include:
 
Roles opposite academy award winning actor Geoffrey Rush as his evil nurse in “House on Haunted Hill”, the battered wife alongside Emmy award winning actress Susan Lucci in the season finale of “All My Children” and her starring role in the comedy cult hit opposite Andy Warhol muse Mary Woronov in “Halfway House”. Mathew Fling
Matthew Fling is originally from Worthington, Kentucky and has been acting and writing since his mid-twenties in Los Angeles.
 
He has recently started an independent production company with two partners called Turtle Christ Films, where they have produced a web series and short film, the latter of which Matthew wrote and co-directed.
Jaime Gerth in Nursery Rhyme
Jaime Gerth grew up in Kenosha, WI. While working a straight job he discovered a passion for negotiating a deal. Jaime applied these skills to acting and producing.
 
Little known fact about Jaime, he started playing the bassoon in the fifth grade. Over the years he has performed with many wind ensembles, community bands and currently is a member of the Los Angeles Symphonic Winds.
J.P. Giuliotti in Nursery Rhyme
J.P. Giuliotti, A native of East Boston, started his acting career when cast in a local stage production of “Come Back Little Sheba”.

Since then, he has appeared on network and cable television including Criminal Minds, HBO’s Room 104, CONAN, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Learning Channel as well as other film, online and stage productions in Los Angeles, Seattle and Boston.
Winston Browne was born and raised in Burbank, CA and has been performing since age 4. Multi-talented from the get-go, she began her career as a tap, jazz and ballet dancer, was a cheerleader for ten years for the Burbank Vikings, sang with a rock band, and does improv and sketch comedy.
 
As an actor, Winston has starred in several plays and musicals, including Bye Bye Birdie and The Sound Of Music. Playing Young Mary was one of her most challenging, yet favorite roles.
Byron Vasquez Jr. in Nursery Rhyme
Byron Vasquez Jr. is from Chino Hills, California, and began his career on stage at The Whittier Community Theater. 
 
His film credits include horror indie “Exorcist: Prayers in the Dark”, “Nursery Rhyme”, and the indie mob dramedy “Sharkskin”. He is the writer, executive producer and actor in his short film “And Let God Do The Rest”. He is a professional American Sign Language Interpreter.
Ali Williams in Nursery Rhyme

Ali Williams Studied costume, theater, and film acting at Florida State University.

She is known for her work on CSI: NY, Princess Rap Battle, Disaster LA, Lost In Darkness, Asphalt Angels, Double Edged  and Superheroes, Huh?



Angelina Garniere in Nursery Rhyme
Angelina Ganiere has had a thriving career for such a young girl. From Criminal Minds to Disney she’s played a wide range of characters.
 
Angelina’s biggest passion is animals and she loves playing with all of her pets. When she isn’t acting you can find her playing violin or at dance class. She is represented by Mavrick Artists and The Kohl Group.
Sandi Milne
Sandi Milne is an Actor/Singer/Songwriter from Los Angeles. Her recent film credits include ‘1 Mile To You’, now on Netflix, and the upcoming Passionflix movie ‘The Trouble With Mistletoe.
 
Two of her songs can be heard on the soundtrack of the new feature ‘The Competition’. She starred in the world premiere of ‘My Matisse’ a one woman show at the COHO Theatre in Portland,Oregon. Sandi is a member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.
Bruce Cole Edwards in Nursery Rhyme
Bruce Cole-Edwards comes from a family of entertainers. Most of them are musicians. He began his acting career in the 80s doing radio and television commercials.

Bruce was very excited about being a part of this project. It was his first one after returning to California. In the future, he is planning to further his acting career, write screenplays and travel.
Morgan Lariah in Nursery Rhyme
Morgan Lariah is a writer/producer/actress/director living in
Los Angeles. Her first feature film as producer and co-writer,
5th Passenger‘, is now available on YouTube.
 
Besides writing, producing, directing, and acting, she
is also a dedicated participant in several women’s advocacy
programs, including Women In Film and Cinefemme.
Katie Hart in Nursery Rhyme
Katarine (Katie) Hart is now ten years old, born on Halloween. She’s a 5th grader in Pasadena, California, and likes unicorns, cats and music. She enjoys art, drama, and baking.
 
She plays the trumpet, snowboards and swims on a team. “Nursery Rhyme” was Katie’s first film. Katie has a twin brother, Matthew.
Ron Vincent in Nursery Rhyme
After forty years of working with high end merchandise such as diamonds and fine watches, Ron Vincent sought to pursue his other interests of film making and music production.
 
He produced an album of Christmas music in 2014, and around
that same time joined the Cottage Court team. As our V.P. of Sales and Marketing he has been tireless in promoting Nursery Rhyme to various film festivals as well as at the American Film Market.
